We got to spend the weekend at Uncle Roy's beach house in Oxnard. Uncle Roy, Aunt Kristy and Cousin Kelsey and their two dogs live in a three story house right on a seldom used beach near a Coast Guard base. It was cold and windy most of the time but that didn't stop Holden from swimming in the waves. Riley and Holden dug holes in the sand and DJ kept track of Gunther. Despite the cold, every day was beautiful. The kids really like it there and can't wait to go back soon. At the end of the trip we went to a famous diner for breakfast, Mrs. Olsen's, where I had a chile relleno omelette covered in trip tip cubes. So good.
